GENERAL
REVIEW
Glen came to R. L. Stevens
in March 2004, with a desire to better himself professionally.
His present position offered no growth potential, limited
earnings and Glen wanted to work for a company with more
progressive thinking management. Glen wanted to make
more money, have more responsibilities and wanted to continue
to make his clients happy.
Glen needed to
take time away from his job search during his busy Agriculture
season in the spring. He came back to RLS on June 9,
2004, ready to hit the ground running. He began
contacting companies of interest to him and soon thereafter
landed an interview in his target company. He had 2
interviews and instantly hit it off with the VP of Sales.
He had a good feeling about this opportunity. Together
with his RLS consultant he researched the company history,
financial standing of the company and continued talks with the
company.
August 16th,
RLS received the following message from Glen,
"We did it! I got the call late
today and got the offer! I am so excited! I am so
thankful for what RLS has taught me. I really didn't
think this process would work in the beginning but I knew what
I was doing on my own wasn't working either. You were
exactly right, when I did the things you told me to do,
everything fell right into place!
My base pay alone
increased by $17,000 thanks to your negotiation strategy!
With commissions, I may earn as much as $100,000 in my first
year! I can't believe what a great opportunity this is
for me and for my family. Best yet, I get to stay right
here, I didn't have to move and it's in the industry I know
best.
